Named Top Chiropractor by Phoenix Magazine, 2025 & 2026
Dr. Jeff Woolston is half the team at Woolston Wellness Center, which he and Dr. Larissa Woolston established in north Scottsdale in 2000. He has been serving the Valley for over 25 years.
Dr. Woolston was born and raised in Michigan and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Central Michigan University. That background in body mechanics and movement is fundamental to his treatment approach — addressing therapies through body balance and strength. While in college, a weight lifting injury led him to discover chiropractic care. He was amazed at how an adjustment could have a global effect on his overall health and wellbeing. Chiropractic ran in the family: his mother used it for her migraines, and his brother relied on it to stay on the field playing college football.
Dr. Woolston graduated from Sherman College of Chiropractic in South Carolina in 1998, where he met and married Dr. Larissa Sefer-Woolston. Together they have two lovely daughters. Outside the office, Dr. Woolston is a weight lifter. He sees patients from newborns to 96-year-olds, from weekend warriors to professional athletes.
His practice emphasis is on treating patients involved in auto injuries. Combined, Dr. Jeff and Dr. Larissa have nearly 1,000 hours of training in the medical-legal arena. They are graduates of the Spine Research Institute of San Diego and certified by the AAMVI (American Academy of Motor Vehicle Injuries). Dr. Jeff is also certified by the Personal Injury Institute and certified in Spinal Ligament Instability by Spinal Kinetics.
Dr. Jeff has served as a Delegate for the Arizona Association of Chiropractic, where he was the lead author for their Personal Injury Quarterly. He presented at the 2022 Arizona Association for Justice webinar — “Doctor Doctor, Gimme The News: I Got A Bad Case of the PI Medicine Blues” — for Arizona trial attorneys.
Dr. Woolston has been profiled in the AZ Republic, The Tribune, Channel 3’s Good Morning Arizona and Good Evening Arizona, and Channel 12’s Health Team.
